Excellence is the way we are
Our customers know this, and that is why they choose us.
Strict quality control of the processes, materials and products,
both during processing and on the finished product, are a guarantee
for our customers and for end consumers.
The definition of sustainable development from which we draw inspiration was expressed as follows by the World Commission on Environment and Development in 1987: “Development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.” Without in any way underestimating the ecological value of salvaging and giving value to leather, a by-product of the food industry that would otherwise be disposed of, we are also convinced that it is everyone’s duty to go a step further, doing their bit right to the very end.
We therefore do not source skins from farms in deforested areas such as the Amazon, and we pay particular attention to all aspects concerning the environment, safety and social responsibility.
In these areas we have obtained ISO 9001 certification, together with the UNIC Code of Conduct for tanneries in compliance with SA 8000 standards, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, and we have launched a project to create a system of traceability of skins.
